Knighn and Figma

Figma is the standard tool for design teams. Knighn is for people who design with agents and ship the result as code.

Pick Figma when you want

  • Live multiplayer editing for large teams.
  • Prototypes with flows, smart animate and a mature viewer.
  • A very large plugin and community file library.
  • Dev Mode for handoff, and an MCP server that can write to the canvas (beta).

Pick Knighn when you want

  • A design is code. Each layer is a TSX element with Tailwind classes, so nothing changes in the handoff.
  • Agents edit with React and Tailwind, which they know well, not with a plugin API.
  • Knighn opens .fig files and pastes from Figma as layers, so you can bring your work across.
  • Open a Next.js, Vite, TanStack Start or Expo project in the Mac app and edit its pages on the canvas.
